We are here for you, parents.

Check this blog regularly for weekly information on what we are learning at Club Six.   We'll provide some tips on how you, as parents, can connect with your kids spiritually and practical ways to lead them as they grow closer to God.

Jesus told them,
“This is the only work God wants from you:
Believe in the One he has sent.”
--John 6:29

Club Six is a place where students in 6th grade meet to hang out and talk about living a life of faith.  We believe it is important for kids to feel safe and comfortable to talk about whatever is on their minds, because God cares about what they care about.  That's why relationship building is key to this group.  We allow time for kids to unwind and just hang out while they grab a snack at the BP station before we head to the church for the lesson.  Lesson topics include making wise choices, friendship, handling conflict, social media, as well as basic faith-building skills.  The lesson always includes a challenge for kids to apply what they discover in the Bible to their lives.

Students will gain a lasting understanding of 3 things:
     1. I am created to pursue an authentic relationship with my creator.
      2. I belong to Jesus Christ and define who I am by what He says.
     3. I exist every day to demonstrate God's love to a broken world.

For the 2013-2014 school year, Club Six will meet on Wednesdays from 2:30-4:00pm.  We will pick the students up from school, and parents please pick up your children from the church at 4:00pm.
